  • Important Updates on DERKAT PREMIUM REVISIONS Platform – New Features, Pricing & Access

    Dear [User’s],


    We are excited to announce new changes to make your learning experience on DERKAT even better.

    1. Direct Help Through DERKAT ASSISTANT

    You can now get instant help via the WhatsApp button on our homepage. The DERKAT ASSISTANT can:

    • Provide a direct link to any course.

    • Answer all your medical questions.

    • Guide you with payment instructions.

      To ensure all our users can get help easily — especially since we noted that WhatsApp Business users could not access the assistant — you can now reach DERKAT ASSISTANT on:


    Note: The AI is programmed not to respond during Continuous Assessments (CAs) or exams to prevent academic malpractice.

    2. Access Fee Update

    To continue accessing all course content, a fee of K20 will now apply.

    • Duration of the fee will be communicated later.

    • Failure to pay will result in losing access to already enrolled courses.

    • You will then only be able to access one randomly chosen course.

    Payment Methods:

    • Bank and Mobile Money Services.

    3. Appointment Scheduling

    You can now schedule an appointment directly from the website:

    • Tap the three dots (top right corner).

    • Select the Appointment > WhatsApp Icon.

    4. Course Updates

    • Drug Administration course has been renamed to Clinical Rotations, reflecting its real-world application.

    5. New Services Added

    We have expanded our offerings:

    6. Account Management

    You can now change your password anytime:

    • Go to My Account → Change Details.

    7. Semester Access Expansion

    • Semester 1 and Semester 2 students can now access the platform.

    • Coming soon: Courses for Environmental Health Technology and Nursing.


    8. Major Update – Login Required

    During this major update, all users were automatically signed out.

    • Please log in again to your account.

    • After logging in, request access afresh to continue learning.
